Cash Boost Secures Parks on Former Yorkshire Coalfields
If you’re reading this, likelihood is that you’re a regular visitor to your local park, could put the Lake District on a map without too much trouble and don’t mind getting a bit grubby outdoors. Even better if you like getting really mucky…we won’t tell anyone!
You understand the importance of having access to good quality open space. You know how good it feels to get outdoors and take the dog for a walk, whatever the weather. You can’t help but feel a little disappointed and frustrated when you see graffiti, vandalism and disenfranchised individuals and communities. You care.
There are too many communities across the country who don’t have access to high quality open space, due to a myriad of reasons ranging from the economic to the political, and sometimes simply because no one cares.
At the Land Trust, we do care. We’re working tirelessly to change the way people think about public open space, with one ultimate goal: to secure a sustainable future for everyone. For your children, your grandchildren and their grandchildren too.
Please help us continue our vital work to and secure a sustainable future for open spaces and communities across the country, for ever.
If there is a particular activity, species or Land Trust site which is close to your heart, let us know and we’ll do our best to make sure that your donation is used for something you can be proud of.
